New Photos from the Set of Doctor Strange in NYC
The cast and crew of Doctor Strange has been spotted in New York City and we have a few photos.
One of the more cool looking things for Doctor Strange is the costume. We have seen actor Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange in costume a couple of times but this we are looking at both him and Baron Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor) in their sorceror training garbs.
It also looks like they are shooting a big action scene since we see Cumberbatch in various states of injury.
Doctor Strange is directed by Scott Derrickson and also stars Tilda Swinton as the Ancient One, Benedict Wong as Wong. Other co-stars in undefined and unrevealed roles include Rachel McAdams, Michael Stuhlbarg, Scott Adkins, Amy Landecker and Mads Mikkelsen.
Doctor Strange tells the story of Stephen Strange (Cumberbatch), an acclaimed neurosurgeon who uncovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions after a near-fatal car accident, showing audiences corners of the Marvel Cinematic Universe never before explored.
Scheduled to hit theaters November 4, 2016, Doctor Strange will continue “Phase Three” of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which launches this May with Joe and Anthony Russo’s Captain America: Civil War.

Above, we could see a green-screened building, which may or may not be Strange’s Sanctum Sanctorum.
There’s also a couple of different scenes involving running either solo with Cumberbatch and as a duo with Ejiofor…
There’s also a lot of standing around and preening.
Seriously, there’s like a ton of Doctor Strange related images and I can’t just comment on all of them. So let’s end this post with a boatload of photos from the April 2, New York City shoot.
