McFarlane Toys Reveals first Wave of DC Multiverse Action figures including DC Animated Figures
So it may be sad that DC Comics and Mattel have officially parted ways in terms of license, it’s a good day for toy collectors because the new people in charge of the toy license, McFarlane Toys are doing a bang up job with the new set of 7-inch DC Multiverse action figures with the first wave featuring a slew of different versions of the publisher’s top characters. Just check out the McFarlane Toys Animated Batman figure based on the 90s TV series.
All we really need at this point is having Kevin Conroy doing voicework whenever you play with the toy. There’s also the Superman from Superman The Animated Series which really looks like the character.
They also got something from Justice League in the form of Green Lantern John Stewart…
On the comics end, expect to see the DC Multiverse Harley Quinn in her classic costume together with her trademark mallet and prop gun…
They will also be going for TV properties and content like CW’s Arrow with a Green Arrow figure complete with quiver and bow. No additional part though.
There will also be a Batmobile that you can build with several figures from this first wave of DC Multiverse. There are three figures that you need to collect to build the Batmobile…
Also there’s the modern/ current Superman…
… and Batman…
And the coolest thing from this wave of DC figures from McFarlane Toys would have to be the armored Batman and Superman figures…
This armored form of Superman appeared in the limited series Superman: Unchained with Jim Lee doing interior art. This one comes with a base and a card featuring the armored form.
There’s also the famous Batman in Hellbat armor which appeared in Batman & Robin.
