After patient zero returned to Earth from Apokolips, Cyborg infected the world starting from Metropolis and goes beyond. By the time Batman starts looking into the situation, his household has also been hit by the Anti-Life Equation.

Too bad for him though as its already too late for Nightwing and Robin aka Tim Drake who had succumbed to the virus.
