Game of Thrones’ Iain Glen Cast as Batman for Titans Season 2

Game of Thrones’ star Iain Glen has been cast as Batman for DC Universe’s Titans season 2 and we’re quite happy with the casting!

Deadline broke the news of the casting. They have reported that Glen’s Batman will make things more interesting for fledgling team as he serves as an advisor and a mentor for Robin and his ragtag team of superpowered teenagers. Ihe Deadline interview it was stated that:

Billionaire Bruce Wayne is just as driven to protect Gotham from evil as he was in his prime. Needing to reconcile his relationship with Dick Grayson, the duo hope to forge a new dynamic as Bruce tries to help his former sidekick and the Titans achieve success.

So while this upcoming season would be the first time we see Batman in an expanding role, the first season already gave us a Batman. The thing was with Titans season 1 was the fact that both Bruce Wayne and Batman was shown either from the neck down or from behind. It’s a standard practice for series and even movies that don’t have quite the actor that they want onscreen yet, but still needed in the story.

But don’t expect Ser Jorah Mormont to show up every episode as his role in the series is as a “recurring character”.

Titans season 2 will bring in new characters and cast including Joshua Orphin as Conner Kent, Chella Man as Joseph Wilson aka Jericho, Esai Morales as Deathstroke aka Slade Wilson and Chelsea Zhang as Rose Wilson aka Ravager.
