China has its own Parody Jollibee called Jellibee

Here’s something weird and funny. A photo was sent to When in Manila from a reader named Dennis T who sent this photo from When in Manila featuring a “pirated” version of Jollibee called Jellibee.

According to the source post, Jellibee was spotted somewhere in Inner Mongolia and got everything from the Jollibee franchise, minus the name of course. You can see in the photo that they even have the orange aesthetics and theme in their establishment

No word of what’s going to happen. Maybe the Jollibee Food Corporation could send a cease and desist order or maybe they can ignore this altogether. My money’s on them letting this slide. This isn’t the first case of copycats trying to rag on the fastfood company’s name and it certainly won’t be the last.
