Rogue One Prequel Starring Diego Luna’s Cassian Andor Preparing to Shoot October 2019

Reports are coming in that Disney’s upcoming Star Wars project, which is an untitled Rogue One prequel which stars Diego Luna who returns as Cassian Andor, will begin production 2019.

The series is described a spy thriller that goes espionage and missions to restore hope to a galaxy in the grip of ruthless empire. Again, Diego Luna will be reprising his role as Cassian Andor.

This untitled Star Wars project also marks as the second Star Wars title in the works, with the first being The Mandalorian which stars Pedro Pascal, who also played Oberyn Martell in Game of Thrones.

“Going back to the Star Wars universe is very special for me. I have so many memories of the great work we did together and the relationships I made throughout the journey. We have a fantastic adventure ahead of us, and this new exciting format will give us the chance to explore this character more deeply.”
