Here’s Why You Never Beg for PC Parts from Celebs and Say You’re From the Philippines

So this actually happened yesterday. Some bloke went on Twitter to ask YouTube tech vlogger @JayzTwoCents for high end PC parts, particularly GPUs. He “asked” and not begged and made an excuse that he’s from the Philippines.

This dude (who I covered the identity for obvious reasons) responded like this…

He claims that the EVGA 1080ti isn’t available here in the country (when if fact it is, or you could order online).

This is where other Filipino Twitter followers stepped in.

And then he leads the discussion to a different direction, one that involves politics. And that dastardly Bureau of Customs.

@JayzTwoCents then comments stating that if a part isnt available, go buy the ones that are available and more importantly, stop begging online.

Tama naman.

Other Twitter users then call out our boy for being a liar because the part can be boughf here in the country… Or at least there’s a way to get it.

So again, the point of this is not to shame the actual person (although I was this close) but rather to give you fanboys and fangirls a look at why its despicable to “beg” from influencers or brands…

Addendum though, you can make deals or give them something they can work on or benefit them. Don’t just “ask” with nothing in return.
