Joaquin Phoenix is inches away from Full-On Joker

More new photos have surfaced of Joaquin Phoenix and if the last time he kinda looked like the Joker, now he’s one chemical bath away from becoming Batman’s archenemy.

I dont like to assume but some possible context here is that we’re establishing how weak the character is when we meet him. Possibly we get a symetrical moment in the third act where Joker revisits this place…

… Or maybe this isnt really a BTS for the Joker movie and I’m jumping light years in terms of conclusions.

The untitled Joker movie also stars Zazzie Beetz and has a release date of 2019.
