New Set Photo for X-Men: Dark Phoenix features fight between Sophie Turner and Jessica Chastain

Two new set photos / BTS from X-Men: Dark Phoenix showcases a fight between Sophie Turner and Jessica Chastain.

We dont actually have much context for this other than seeing Chastain trying to choke Turner who plays Jean Grey aka the titular Dark Phoenix.

While these aren’t exactly mo-cap suits they’re wearing, you can notice that they have something that resemble mo-cap accessories on their hair. Jean obviously needs this her flame effect but why would Jessica Chastain’s character need one as well?

X-Men Dark Phoenix opens 2019 and also stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Tye Sheridan, Kodi Smit-Mcphee, Alexandra Shipp, Evan Peters, Nicolas Hoult and more. The film is directed by Simon Kinberg and will be released by 20th Century Fox.
