Marvel Teases the Death of a Member of Guardians of the Galaxy in Infnity Wars: Fallen Guardian

Looks like the Guardians of the Galaxy won’t be leaving Infinity Wars as whole as what we think thanks to this new teaser from Marvel where we find out that “One Will Fall”. It’s also for the one shot Infinity Wars: Fallen Guardian.

The whole death may or may not happen in a tie-in book titled Infinity Wars: Fallen Guardian which will also feature the art of R.B. Silva.

The main Infinity Wars book already ended with the seeming death of a member of the currently-disbanded Guardians of the Galaxy group. That’s right, Peter Quill almost died at the hands of former flame and former teammate Gamora.

We still have a lot to go with the current “event book” from Marvel but at this point, all the current members of the Guardians need a reboot or a reset, with the exemption of Groot who just got his older form back during an encounter with “The Gardener” in Infinity Countdown.

Our money is on Gamora though.

This will also open the door for a relaunched Guardians of the Galaxy book with an expansive roster coming from the various csmic characters from the past and future who considered themselves members of the Guardians
