In this week’s Justice League # 7, readers get a taste of how the ending of the Totality arc turned things into something deeper and deadlier with the appearance of two characters who may or may not change the game both for the Justice League and also for Lex Luthor and his Legion of Doom.

Justice League # 7 is out now in stores and is written by Scott Snyder with art by Jim Cheung.

So after the climatic battle where things get switched up and we see Snyder’s Trinity in action, the Justice League has recovered the mysterious Totality and had safely tucked it somewhere in the Hall of Justice.

Later as the team considers where they should be going, a mysterious boom erupts and out from a portal comes…

Starman, complete with his cosmic staff, similar to that of Stargirl of the JSA.

Justice League # 7 Spoilers – The Legion’s new member

Meanwhile, Lex Luthor is hard at work scheming his next move and musing how he can get the Totality and more importantly how he can defeat the Justice League.

He admits to somebody in the room that he needs help and he needs to be more profound than ever before.

The last page for Justice League # 7 reveals that Luthor had called in the assistance of Dark Nights: Metal character The Batman Who Laughs.

We’ll see how this pans out soon and its also interesting to note that we may get an arc where we focus on Snyder’s Trinity going off to space namely Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern John Stewart and Hawkgirl.

To be honest though, Snyder’s storytelling is more enjoyed in collected format rather than single issue per month.
