Colossus and Kitty Pryde Gets Hitched in May with X-Men Wedding Special #1

Kitty Pryde won’t be a June bride but she’s still getting hitched in May with Marvel’s X-Men Wedding Special # 1.

The pair will be finally tying the knot in a special issue that comes side by side with the next X-Men Gold story arc called “Til Death Do Us Part” which will run from X-Men Gold # 26 to # 30.

The X-Men Wedding Special #1 will be written by Rogue & Gambit’s writer Kelly Thompson together with Marc Guggenheim. There’s also a special story written by legendary X-Men creator Chris Claremont with art by various artists including Marika Cresta and Greg Land.

Thompson writes:

X-Men weddings are always a big deal, if only because they’re so rare. I think you probably have to go all the way back to X-Men #30 in 1994 – the wedding of Jean Grey and Cyclops – to get a wedding as potentially big as the wedding of Kitty Pryde and Colossus: two X-Men who’ve been around (and on again/off again) for literal decades.
