Star Wars Fans Petition The Last Jedi to Be Removed from Canon

Some Star Wars fans are so displeased with how Star Wars: The Last Jedi came out that they are starting to organize a campaign to remove the second movie in the new Star Wars trilogy from the official canon.

The petition campaign called Have Disney strike Star Wars Episode VIII from the official canon. is garnering a small amount of signatures and it’s basically what its titled, have Walt Disney Studios (the new owners of the Star Wars franchise) remove the Last Jedi as a canon film.

Currently though, amidst fan hatred and low audience response on websites like Rotten Tomatoes, Walt Disney Studios Philippines has reported that the eight Star Wars movie has just grossed a staggering P145.2-M in its first five days of release, opening at No.1 for the Dec. 13-17 frame.

So I dunno with these guys. Good luck with their petition I guess. As for me, I’m quite happy with the movie. You can check out my Star Wars: The Last Jedi review.
