Batman # 31 Spoilers

We’re back for more spoilers from DC and today we’re doing Batman # 31 spoilers. It’s part 6 of War of Jokes and Riddles and was written by Tom King with art by Mikel Janin.

So in this issue, with Batman already announcing his partnership with Riddler to take down the Joker and finally end the War of Jokes and Riddles which has gripped Gotham City.

Joker has all but a few soldiers and has locked himself up in the same building the whole war between him and Riddler had begun. Now he’s in murder mode and murders what seems to be a civilian or at most a loyalist.

Batman and the Riddler try to find away to recon the place to better get an idea on how and where to strike.

Batman reveals that he actually enlisted the help of Catwoman for this task.

Joker sees Selina Kyle and tries to murder her. He also reveals that there are no traps in the windows of these buildings.

Joker also notices Selina and shoots her.

With the information they gathered from Catwoman regarding Joker’s last base of operations, Batman and Riddler look for ways to reach the Clown Prince of Crime before its too late.

KITE MAN! HELL YEAH!

With Joker surrounded, it all boils down to Riddler and Joker squaring off…

With Joker already beaten and unconscious, Riddler turns his attention on Batman.

And because its Batman, you know he’s already for this doublecross.

Apparently, Batman had Kite Man work on the harnesses that the rogues in Riddler’s camp used to reach the Joker. He sets it up so it becomes a Fulton Extraction set with Alfred in the sky ready to intercept the villains like Clayface, Killer Croc, Two-Face and Poison Ivy.

Riddler kicks the crap out of Kite Man for the doublecross and then faces off with the three.

We still don’t know what ‘dark secret’ Batman did during the War of Jokes and Riddles but it won’t be far from now. Maybe issue 32 or 33? Tom King did a wild story here. I wish that they had more stories to tell.
