First Promotional Image for Netflix Punisher starring Jon Bernthal

Here’s our first official promotional image for the upcoming Netflix Punisher series starring Jon Bernthal.

The series is slated for release later this year with The Walking Dead star in the lead as Frank Castle/ Punisher.

Bernthal’s appearance as Netflix Punisher started waaay back when he joined the cast of Netflix’s Daredevil season 2 where he clashed with the Man Without Fear on several occasions. This was by-far, the most entertaining and engaging version of The Punisher for TV anyway (because I still am a fan of the Thomas Jane Punisher from decades ago.)

The image plays effectively with the lighting accentuating even further Castle’s new gear which he acquired at the end of Daredevil season 2 where…

He kills off his former commanding officer (Clancy Brown) and unlocks a shed full of high-powered weapons.
