DC Comics Setting Up a New Crisis and it Begins in Dark Days: The Forge # 1

It looks like DC Comics isn’t done with their Crisis story events and while we still don’t have clues to it, there’s a lot of references and easter eggs in this week’s Dark Days: The Forge # 1 by Scott Snyder with Jim Lee, Andy Kubert and John Romita Jr.

This week’s “The Forge” had a lot of things going on, a lot of interesting things that happens and some future plots that could either be solved in Snyder and Greg Capullo’s Dark Nights: Metal miniseries. Still its worth noting that there were some moments from this issue that was too in-your-face when it comes to mentioning a crisis.

Still here? Alright, lets proceed…

In Dark Days: The Forge, we get an inkling of the new Crisis when it was first mentioned in the narrative by the Immortal Men.

The Immortal Men would be a non-traditional team which will be released around the time the last issue of ‘Metal’ rolls out.

There’s also the line that Batman and Mr. Terrific share when they meet in Batman’s Lunar Cave, which talks about studying the other Earth, which is Earth 2, or at least the new Earth 2.

Also in Dark Days: The Forge # 1 is another one of Batman’s secrets which was stored miles beneath Superman’s arctic Fortress of Solitude and its ONE OF THE BIGGEST symbols when the term Crisis comes to mind.

There’s still a lot of things we’ll cover for Dark Days: The Forge and we’ve only scratched the surface.
