Electronic Arts has revealed a new co-op centric game for the Playstation 4 and the Xbox One called A Way Out as part of their E3 announcements.

You play the roles of Vincent and Leo and basically, you have to bust your way out of prison. Watch the trailer below.

A Way Out is written and directed by Josef Fares, the man behind Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. It’s a story-driven, co-op prison break game which means you NEED to play the game either with a friend beside you or via the Internet. Remember the old-school games were you actually finish a game together. That’s how Pinoy kids played back in the day. We lost that during the age of multiplayer games but now its back. We missed this seriously.

Interestingly enough, there are parts of the game where one player gets to move around while the other needs to sit through a cut scene, making it more engaging and interesting.

A Way Out will launch in early 2018. The game is being developed by Hazelight, Fares’ new studio.
