The Verge reports that Marvel title Black Panther and the Crew has been cancelled after issue # 6.

The cancellation was revealed by “Black Panther” writer Ta-Nehisis Coates and was attributed to poor sales. Black Panther and the Crew has currently two issues out and features a team of African-American Marvel characters dealing with police violence in the city. The characters that you’d see in the title includes Ororo Munroe aka Storm of the X-Men, her former husband Black Panther, Luke Cage, Misty Knight and former Avenger Manifold.

What’s really sad is that the title recently generated some buzz after news picked up that they named a character Ezra Miller.

At least Coates still gets to play with T’Challa as Black Panther continues to make good numbers on his solo book. And at least fans of the title would be treated to the conclusion to the book’s ongoing mystery up until Black Panther and the Crew # 6.
