Donnie Yen in Talks to Star in Sleeping Dogs Movie.

Rogue One star Donnie Yen is rumored to star in a live action movie adaptation of the Square Enix game Sleeping .

According to reports Original Film, the same studios who work in the Fast and the Furious films, will be handling the Sleeping Dogs movie.

We last saw Donnie Yen in last year’s Rogue One as well as this year’s XxX 3 starring opposite Vin Diesel.

The game Sleeping Dogs was published and released by Square Enix together with United Front Games for the Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The current gen versions have been packaged as the Definitive Edition which was released 2014.

Sleeping Dogs was originally released in 2012 and featured an open world system with an interesting storyline featuring Chinese-American police office Wei Shen going under to infiltrate the Chinese triad in Hong Kong. 

No release date has been given for Sleeping Dogs and no director attached yet.
