The Rock to Produce Paige’s Pro-Wrestling Biopic Fighting with my Family

Dwayne Johnson has been all around Hollywood but has yet to make a really good or at least promising pro-wrestling movie. That’s until he announced recently that he will be producing the film Fighting With My Family based on the lives of former WWE Diva’s Champion Paige and her UK-based family.

The movie will be based on the documentary of the same name and will follow the lives of former gangmember turned pro-wrestler Ian Bevis aka Ricky Knight, Julia Hamer-Bevis, Zak Bevis aka Zak Zodiac and Saraya-Jade Bevis aka Paige.

And if you’re a pro-wrestling fan and can’t wait to see the output for this project, you’ll be happy to know that they’ve tapped some big name stars to play the role of this wrestling family. Nick Frost (Shaun of the Dead, World’s End) will play patriarch Ricky Knight.

Fighting with my Family will be directed and written by Stephen Merchant together with Seven Bucks Productions, in association with WWE Studios, Misher Films, and Film4. Production begins this month.
