Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age Release Date Announced
Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age release date has been revealed by Square Enix recently and its closer than you expect.
The Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age will be released for the Playstation 4 on 11th July for Europe and North America while Japan and Asia will be getting the game 13th July.
This was also released together with the Final Fantasy VII remake visual key during the Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary Opening Ceremony.
The Playstation 4 remaster ups the ante based on the 2006 original with beefed up graphics and sounds and most importantly they added in an overhauled battle design as well as a revamped job system. More details below:
Visual Improvements
- High-resolution upgrades for backgrounds, character models, and all 2D parts including fonts
- High-resolution upgrades for movie scenes
- Introduction of current generation visual expression
Sound Improvements
- 7.1ch surround support
- High-quality voice support
- English and Japanese voices (switch between them in the game configuration)
- Original and newly re-recorded BGMs (switch between them in the game configuration)
Usability Improvements
- Shorter load times
- Auto-save functionality added
- Improved speed mode and speed mode operability
