The much-anticipated The Flash/Supergirl musical episode suddenly became a Glee reunion with the addition of Darren Criss as baddie following a musical theme.

The reveal and eventually Criss role was done by Andrew Kreisberg who was quoted saying:

With our Flash and our Supergirl being Glee alums, how could we not have them go up against another Glee favorite like Darren Criss? We have been blown away by his talent over the years and we can’t wait to see what he brings to the Music Meister.

The two-part episode will premiere March 20th with Supergirl to be followed the next evening (21st March) on The Flash.

The episode with the Flash will be directed by Dermott Downs and will have the title “Duets”. Entertainment Weekly has also revealed which of the castmembers will be singing in the musical episodes and it includes the three Glee alums Grant Gustin, Melissa Benoist and Darren Criss together with Jesse L. Martin, Victor Garber, Carlos Valdes, Jeremy Jordan, and John Barrowman.

Sounds just about right? Will this episode leave you with a happy tune?
