So we had the cringe-worthy moment of seeing Noli de Castro get into an awkward situation with Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa.

After the video went on social media, De Castro received a lot of flak for the way he did the satellite interview with the Filipina beauty queen.

I personally called it a “DOM move” or Dirty Old Man move; trust me, I’ve seen a lot of DOMs do this IRL. I also wanted to comment on this trending topic that at some point I really was waiting for De Castro to say “may pang-tuition ka na ba”.

More so than that, there were a lot of Internet users who say that this was “unprofessional”, it was “cringe-worthy” and it was “disturbing”.

On the flipside, a lot of viewers had commended Verzosa for the way she handled the situation. Her witty retort and showing just how much she deserves the crown.
