Will Rockstar Games Announce Red Dead Redemption 2 Already?

Long have people clamored for a Red Dead Redemption 2 from Rockstar Games and the game developing company just kept mum about their plans. But if there’s any indication with the recent of change of cover photo for their Facebook page, that sequel’s announcement may not be far off.

There were some movements for Red Dead Redemption 2 in the past but its been a long time before any OFFICIAL information has been released.

Here are some of the comments that people left on the actual Facebook cover page for Rockstar Games.

STOP PLAYING WITH MY EMOTIONS – Jerrod Freeman

The only time my dick has been this hard was when we were all introduced to Trevor Phillips for the first time playing GTAV on the PS3.

Not once in my 27 years of gaming has one single image BLOWN MY MIND as much as this. ROCKSTAR are the KINGS of the video game industry!!!!! #reddead3 #returntothewest #deadmansgun – Dan Cross

You know you have something when you can put a simple logo and a color still getting a crazy reaction. – Alan Motley

If you are playing! Then it’s not funny, and You are responsible for future deaths of bilions! You sadistic bunch of ##&$%#&. And if you are serious, then you just made me the happiest man alive (sort off) ^^ – Krzysiek Mastalerz

The common thinking by fans who also commented in the cover photo is that it could also be a remastered release announcement for Red Dead Redemption for current gen consoles namely the Playstation 4 and the Xbox One.

But they (and also me) want a sequel for Red Dead Redemption which was released by Rockstar Games in 2010. Why could they not release one? The fanbase is already there, same fans have been hungry for new RDR stuff and they are definitely willing to dish out money to play the game.

Red Dead Redemption was mindless fun. For me it was Grand Theft Auto Wild West and the fact that they had a seriously bad-ass character in the form of John Marston definitely got me hooked. Don’t forget the number of things you can do in a playthrough and even more so the amazing storyline.

To be honest, we would welcome anything related to ‘Redemption, either a remastered version for the Xbox One and Playstation 4 although we would be happier if this actually turns out to be Red Dead Redemption 2 and not a remaster.
