EW Provides a lot of New Rogue One Still Images and Details
Our first Rogue One story for today centers on the buttload of new material that came along with Entertainment Weekly’s upcoming issue.
They actually shed some light on the characters as far as their names are concerned excluding Felicity Jones’ Jayne Erso. Anyway, more details after the break.
Ben Mendelsohn will be playing the role of Imperial officer Director Orson Krennic. We still don’t know how he would be taking this character but I’ll tell you something, the man means business.
EW was gracious enough to give us two photos featuring the “Deathtroopers” which could be the Empire’s elite kill squad; that or they have other special functions as soldiers.
Won’t be a Star Wars/ Rogue One post without the classic Stormtroopers still decked in white and presumably still misses their marks.
So now for Erso’s squad.
Actor Riz Ahmed’s character name is Bodhi Rook… seriously I read it first as “Body Rock” which could be reggae.
Chiang Wen (standing) plays Baze Malbus while Donnie Yen (seated) plays Chirrut Imwe. A random commenter stated that Baze’s name reads similar to “amazeballs”. “Body Rock” & “Amazeballs”. Hmmm.
