New Samurai Jack Promotional Image Goes Bloody

Only we were expecting a cleaner looking or normal looking Jack and instead we have this.

A bloody, tired and beaten Samurai Jack with his sword drawn and ready to strike at a moment’s notice; another trademark to the series.

This image was previewed by Samurai Jack creator Genndy Tartakovsky at the Annecy Festival D’Animation in France.

What really strikes us here is how mature the content seems. Before they would substitute blood for other things and colors but it looks like for the new series, there would be no such thing.

Samurai Jack is set to premiere later this year under Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim block.
