Rosario Cavite’s Hidden Gem – Mount Sea Resort

I spotted this article from Philstar about this new resort in Rosario, Cavite called Mount Sea Resort (MSR) and I have to say from the way it was described to the photos of the actual place, that this could be a big hit amongst the beach loving denizens of Metro Manila.

MSR might seem new but its been around for decades; two decades to be exact. And we have businessman Patterson Ngo to thank for this. Patterson has worn many hats in the twenty years of developing and running the resort, one of the hats he’s worn is that of a manager. It’s also one of his strong suits partly because he has been working in developing hotels and leisure establishments.

“It’s been my personal passion to continue expanding and improving Mount Sea Resort under my helm,”

The expertise and skills Patterson uses in running MSR traces its roots to the manager’s profession. Patterson is an accomplished businessman and accountant by day and a culinary arts enthusiast by heart. He also keeps grounded by finding balance between business and family life.

So what really struck me with this al fresco style hotel is the architecture and the overall feel aka ambiance. Photos below would show just how beautiful the place is, especially when its all lit up. It’s really hard to fathom that the place has been open many years ago. It’s also gone through significant changes through the years but managed to stick to the overall theme and feel. They also haven’t forgotten about the comfort and leisure for guests who either visit MSR to just dine or stay for the rest of the evening.

It’s pretty evident from the photos above that MSR has taken into consideration zen aesthetics for various parts of the hotel. The garden stands as a testament to that with the fountains, promenades and even the landscape.

Other areas of the MSR will cater to the usual needs of people in hotels. The place’s Fiesta del Amor pool is as photogenic as any June bride and is the perfect backdrop for honeymooners. If you’re going to Rosario with a Team-building activity in mind then you are most definitely welcome to try the hotel’s waterfront pool. Fitness buffs can use the fully-functional gym and playroom during their stay.

And we haven’t even touched on the food.

There’s a bountiful amount of dishes available at MSR. Whether you’re looking for Pinoy, Asian or even Western cuisine, there’s something for everybody at the MSR. Oh and let’s not forget the seafood.

The place also looks promising thanks to the spacious meeting and business rooms.  Because I’m a big Batman fan and I’ve yet to experience having a butler/ Alfred Pennyworth at my beck and call, I’ll be happy to cash in my staycation just to try out their butler service.
