It’s X-Men versus X-Men in miniseries Civil War II: X-Men

No matter how Marvel puts it, Civil War has always been known for superhero versus superhero fights. It’s the central theme for the first one with Mark Millar and Steve McNiven and it will be the same thing for Civil War II, which will now include X-Men.

At the time of the announcement we know that the covers would be done by Brandon Peterson. The art that was previewed though belongs to David Yardin. Later Bunn announced that the interiors for Civil War II: X-Men would be done artist Andrea Broccardo.

Bunn describes the book as a massive fight between the two existing teams of X-Men; Magneto’s Uncanny X-Men and Storm‘s Extraordinary X-Men.

I hope it doesn’t have this forced feel to it; because that was really the case for the first Civil War: X-Men which was basically a Bishop story versus the rest of the X-Men.
